A gray apprentice narrowed her eyes playfully at one of the guards watching over her and her brother. "Hey buddy!" Mousepaw meowed, her voice not shaking or giving any hint of the fear she had when she first arrived at the camp of the cats instead it was high pitched and playful. "You know.....we've been friends for a long time now. Its had to have been at least a week since I've been here right?" She meowed, tilting her head mockingly at the guard.
Spiderpaw watched his half-sister in slight amusement, one thing he had learned growing up with her was not to let her get bored.....bad things happen when she was bored. For example, when they were resting in a spot in the mountains, Mousepaw grew bored and had one of her hyper explosions, causing a small avalanche to fall and block the enterance of the cave they had stayed in....delaying the clans travels for a day or more. Spiderpaw narrowed his eyes slightly at the guard, lucky for Mousepaw, Milo had ordered the guards not to kill the apprentices.

The guard gritted his teeth and forced himself to ignore the annoying young apprentice. But drowning out her high-pitched voice was close to impossible. Sheathing and unsheathing his claws in the floor, he waited impatiently for Milo to appear as he had everyday around the time of Sun-high.

Mousepaw watched the guard's reaction to her and narrowed her eyes "Awwww dont be like that. We went through this last night remeber?" She squeaked and leapt up on her paws. "I mean......its YOUR fault Im annoying you this bad, member? Yesterday I wanted to go for a walk and you....being the big fat meanie face told me NO! Can you believe that? NO! How would you like it if I said NO to you MmmmmMM I bet you wouldnt be to happy not getting what you wanted!" She meowed and waited for the guards reply.

A growl escaped the guard's throat as she continued. But when she was done, his fur was pricked on end and he was ready to turn around right then and kill the little she-devil. Then it happened. The moment she opened her mouth, his strength gave up on him and he turned around, leapt at the apprentice, and pinned her to the ground. He was aiming for the little she-cat's neck.

Mousepaw narrowed her eyes at the guard "YOU CANT DO IT!!" She yowled "Your bossy dude told you not to kill me 'member?" She squeaked and eyed her brother as he stood up. "Besides, it was you that wouldnt let me go for a walk!! Besides thats not fair....your fatter then I am anyways." She paused and tilted her head "Have you been workin out?" She meowed. A small grin escaped her muzzle as her last sentence. "You need anger mangement....might I suggest going with my brothers Spiderpaw and Owlpaw? OH yeah!! And Lightpaw too....he yells a lot."

The guard was just about to bite down on Mousepaw's neck when a booming voice echoed through the cave. It was Milo. "Stand down!" he shouted angrily at the guard. When the guard hesitated, Milo didn't waste time telling him again. He walked to the guard side and sunk his fangs deep into the place just between the cat's neck and shoulder. He bit down, and didn't let go. The guard yowled in pain, then gritted his teeth and tried to hold his desperate crys of pain. Everycat in the cave froze in their place, paws glued to the floor and eyes fixed on Milo and his victim. After a few long moments, the guard sank to his knees, and then to his belly. Only then did Milo release the cat. The tom stayed where he was, still alive, but in much pain and losing much blood every passing second. Finally Milo looked up and called through out the caves. "And let that be a lesson to all of you! If you even stop to think about double-crossing one of my orders, I won't show any mercy in killing you." He looked down at the guard in discust, who stared back in fear and hatred. And that was why Milo was the top cat. All feared him. And no one had the courage to challenge his authority.

Mousepaw watched on as the guard hit the floor, then her hazel gaze turned to Milo "You just beat the crap outta my bestest buddy!!" She meowed and glanced at the guard again, sticking her tounge out "Haha! I told you Mr. Bossy would march in and yell at you!!" She teased and turned back to Milo "Im bored. Really really bored. And I needa walk. None of your peeps would give me a walk yesterday! Can you believe that!? They said NO. So I told them a story about giving them a mouse and then ripping it away saying NO. Mr. Bossy whats your name? Im Mousepaw and when Thunderclan sees that you stole thier finest apprentice, they'll rip you a new cake hole!" She meowed, though that was meant to be a threat, she sounded cheery and finished the thing without a breath.
Spiderpaw watched on from his spot, slowly seathing his claws again as the guard hit the floor. That has to be the fifth cat Mousepaw drove off in two days He thought slightly shaking his head. Sitting down, he never took his dark eyes off Milo what was it that made the other cats obey so easily, to them the answer would be fear but to Spiderpaw it would only be cowardness.

Milo ignored the apprentice blindly and turned in to face the center of the cave where everyone had stopped and gathered to see the guard's downfall. "Let that serve as yet another lesson! Anyone who doubts or hesitates to follow my orders will never hear another order as long as they live, which would be only a few seconds longer." he yowled to the surrounding warriors. Milo then turned to the two apprentices. They were so diffrent. One of them was a chipper, upbeat she-cat. While the other was a solemn, observational tom. Milo still unsure of which apprentice was the right one. But he had his suspisions. Neither of them could leave either way. Sighing inwardly, Milo rolled his eyes. Because he was loosing so many cats to disobeadiance because of this apprentice, he would have to watch them insted. "If you want something done right, you've got to do it yourself." he muttered to himself under his breath. He flicked his tail, ordering warriors to flank the apprentices so they would be forced to follow him to his den.

"Thats what I say!" Mousepaw meowed, bounding up beside Milo. "HEY!!" She turned to the warrior's behind her and Spiderpaw "We're going for a walk We're going for a walk We're going for a walk We're going for a walk We're going for a walk We're going for a walk We're going for a walk We're going for a walk We're going for a walk We're going for a walk We're going for a walk!" She sang loudly. UNTIL she noticed the path Milo was following "Thats not a walk mister!" She growled "We're going to a stinky old cave again" She growled "What about the waaaaaaalllllllk?? MmmmMM?" She meowed and turned to Spiderpaw "This sucks"
Spiderpaw rolled his eyes at Mousepaw, any cat could tell he was getting annoyed with her "Shut up and follow the d**n cat Mousepaw" He growled and narrowed his eyes at Milo, if he thought he could rule over Spiderpaw that easily...he was dead wrong. If Spiderpaw was going to rule his own clan one day...that'll be something that he'll change, all the killing and kidnapping was his.

Milo disappeared into his den, motioning for the guards to surround the cave, foring the two young cats into the front of the cave. Plunging into the darkness, he didn't care weither the apprentices followed or not. But he had more thinking, planning, and scheming to do.

Mousepaw narrowed her eyes at Spiderpaw "Fine!" She growled, eyeing Milo "He thinks hes all big and ruler-ish....well well....FINE I dont want the role anyways!'' She muttered to herself. Following silenlty now, she unsheathed her claws and continued on.
Spiderpaw paused at the enterance of the cave, something wasnt right about this. He glanced up toward the shadows at the top of the cave narrowing his eyes as a thin mist appeared along a ridge. "What the" He muttered, watching the mist fall from the ridge slowly making its way toward him.

The stream of mist rolled out on the floor, flowing toward the black tom. It surrounded him, blinding him in the dark tunnel. Spiderpaw... I have been expecting you..." a voice echoed through the hollow cave.

Mousepaw turned to Spiderpaw "Who the heck are you talking to?" She hissed

The mist disappeared as quickly as it came. But a cold presence lingered. "I have been waiting for many moons my son..." it said.
