Mothpelt padded through the Shadowclan camp and dropped the two rabbits he had cought on his way back from the encounter with Cheetahfoot. Ignoring the looks from the other warriors and the apprentices who slunked down behind other warriors or behind the bushes. He padded towards the Warrior's den without second glance at any of the cats. In fact the fear scent in the camp had become a great scent to him.

Cheetahfoot padded into camp. Her head was hung low,her ears and tail drooped, and her eyes were narrowed into tight slits. Her paws dragged along the ground,as if she did not have enough energy to lift them properly.Even her beautiful bengal pelt seemed duller than usual.Mothpelt's betrayal had taken quite a toll on her,as any cat could see from her posture. And now,she was exausted, depressed, and defeated. She needed to sleep.Maybe she'd wake up in the morning...and it'd all turn out to be a dream. She,Mothpelt, and Dustfall could go on a partrol or something.Yeah.Or something. For Cheetahfoot knew that this wouldn't happen. These events were not dreams. They were real. And she would have to face them. So,with one last forlorn glance at the night sky,she padded into the warrior's den, intending to get some sleep. She stopped dead in her tracks as she spotted an all-too-familiar dark brown coat.I didn't mean I wanted to face it yet! she silently yowled to StarClan.Cheetahfoot stayed where she was, half intending to turn away from the scene and wander off into the territory. But again, something kept her.Half of her wanted to cling to some false hope that Mothpelt would appologize. The other half wanted to claw the tom's eyes out.

Mothpelt cast a glance at the she-cat, his cold eyes holding a new expression as his gaze fell on Cheetahfoot. He padded over to her with the thingyy look growing in his eyes "You look like you got into a fight with a rabbit" He purred, amused at the she-cat's pain. Without casting another glance at her, he bounded towards the warrior's den. Half hopping his sister wouldnt be there to chew him out for skipping the patrol this morning and evening.

Cheetahfoot only snarled in reply, but did not attempt to run after Mothpelt. He'd only laugh at her.And so,she curled up miserabley in her nest, and closed her eyes. After today, she'd never be able to get to sleep. But she didn't want to see theworld around her.
Sandstorm growled impatiently as she watched her brother, snorting in dissapproval.Unlike Cheetahfoot,Mothpelt's new personality only made her dissapproving and irritable."Where have you been?"she questioned sharply, standing up.Her brown tail lashed from side to side behind her in obvious annoyance.

"Obviously hunting" Mothpelt answered, not caring about the tone his sister used, instead, he padded past her towards the territory again. Obviousky hearing the anger in everyone's tone and not caring. He padded off just outside of the camp, when his amber eyes ckouded over in confusion and he had to pause to keep from falling to the ground. A second later, he was padding off again, the sweet tast of kittypet blood still in his mouth.

Sandstorm's eyes narrowed and she hissed sharply after her brother.Shaking her amber head, the she-cat turned away.It was too late to go after that mouse-brain now."We're talking when you get back!"she threatened after him, though her whiskered twitched in slight amusement.Exasperated, she looked around for something else to do....
